Career Goal Essay


As a young child I had many goals that I’ve wanted to accomplish. Just like

any normal child I always had second thoughts about these goals. I was not sure if they

were something I really wanted to do. As I got older I started learning more about law

and I realized that law was of interest to me. I knew I had to start staying more focused

in school. Also to achieve this goal I had to learn more about law. I would love to be a

Lawyer because of many reasons; I love to argue to prove myself right, I love to help and

defend people and I love to stand up for what I believe in. Being a lawyer has a lot of

responsibilities, but I am willing to take these responsibilities and do what I need to do to

make my family proud. I want to become a success in life. I have many other goals also,

such as dealing with communications, being a chef and opening my business but being a

lawyer is more of a passion to me. I will do whatever it takes to accomplish this goal and

to become a success in life. To do this I plan on getting good grades while I am still in

high school and after. Once I accomplish these goals I know that I will have my life fully

planned and be ready to make something of myself. I feel as though I am very smart and

intelligent and I am happy to be who I am as a person. By being myself I learned the

importance of being a leader and not a follower. I know I can accomplish these goals as

long as I stay focused and put my mind to it.
